O'Brien's Restaurant - N Wells St, Chicago

Waitstaff and host adhere to a strict "no smiling" policy. They give
just enough Irish attitude that it could be mistaken for snobbery. The
ladies room is lovely, but a bit small for such a large drinking
establishment. The plastic rotating seat covers and foaming hand soap
are rare embellishments that might make this an 8, but the management
would do better to spend their time and money on actually making sure
the toilet flushes.

1 stall
Paper towels
Foaming Soap
Automatic rotating plastic covers on seat!
Open access, but expect some attitude.

Hmmmm... I should get in on this, eh?? I want you to know that the new bathrooms at Il Lupo's, though a dramatic improvement from the past, still have issues. The decor is lovely (though their decision to opt for Parisian decorations in an Italian restaurant is questionable). The plumbing still doesn't seem to work for them, leaving you embarrassed each time you leave the stall, and the soap dispensers find it amusing to shoot the soap straight at your crotch, totally bypassing your intended palm.
Just thought you should know. :-)
